MoonTree Puzzles

Dear Puzzler Friends,

This is an update about the serial production of Jukebox. So far, everything is going well, the CNC-machines are busy milling every day. I attach a few photos of some freshly-made parts and pieces. In the meantime, we have bought a huge amount of neodymium magnets and screws, as well as 200 chamois leather cloths for accessory. A single copy of the puzzle will contain 189 individual parts, out of which there are 65 CNC-machined pieces, the rest are neodymium magnets, screws, nails, nuts and else. I have recently made arrangements with a professional packaging company to design a gift box for the puzzle with a focus on both protective and eco-friendly features.

According to our plan, the first 3 copies will be ready for a test-assembly late September. Then the first batch of 30 copies is coming off the CNC-workstations early October. Next, a thorough mechanical polishing process will take place for all visible parts, followed by anodyzing and nickel-plating. These processes are completely carried out by Hungarian experts locally (Debrecen) and in the capital (Budapest). Once we have all the parts ready to be put together, we will do some long sessions of assembling and safe-testing of each copy. We are aiming for a November shipping of the first 30 puzzles. I am trying to be realistic here and not over-ambitious, but our fingers are crossed 🙂

Once again, let me express my sincere gratitude to all our clients, who trusted our work and helped us starting this process by placing their deposits. We are doing our best to get every single Jukebox to their owner in time.

Talk to you soon!
Cheers,
Daniel
