Dear Puzzler Friends,
Serial production of the first 154 reserved copies of Jukebox has officially started (only 46 left to sell before we are sold out :)). We will produce the puzzle in small batches of 30-40 copies. The first batch is expected to be ready and shipped around October (fingers crossed :)), and every month after that we are planning to come out with a new batch. Our primary plan is to finish the first 154 copies by early next year. This is not a promise though, rather an ambitious goal that our valued customers deserve.
Let me share a photo about the anodyzed test materials that recently came back to us. These undergone various mechanical and chemical treatments to help us better coordinate the final brown tones of the different parts and pieces during serial production. In the meantime, we have ordered a huge load of aluminium and machinable plastics. It is so amazing to see these rough materials and imagine what they will become after some thorough CNC-machining, polishing and anodyzing. We cannot wait to have all the parts ready and start assembling the puzzles. We will be posting workshop photos from time to time. A “Blog” section was newly added to the website, so all previous and forthcoming newsletters will be archived here too.
